Alison M. Healey is the State's Attorney for Harford County, Maryland. A member of the Republican Party, she was sworn into office on January 3, 2023, following her successful election in November 2022. Her victory marked a historic milestone, as she became the first woman to hold the position of State's Attorney in the county's history. Healey's legal career began in Harford County, where she served as an Assistant State's Attorney from 2006 to 2019. After over a decade as a prosecutor, she transitioned to private practice, establishing the Law Office of Alison Healey, LLC, which she ran from 2019 until her election. Healey is an alumna of Goucher College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 2002. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2005.
