Altarik White is a Newark native, former professional football player, educator, and community advocate. He is the founder and Executive Director of Leaders for Life, a nonprofit organization that provides outreach, training, and resources to disenfranchised youth and residents in Newark. His work focuses on providing meals, mentoring, and job placement support. White is a former educator in the Newark Public School System and was inducted into the Newark Athletic Hall of Fame.
