Amanda Nichole Heath is an incumbent Superior Court Judge for Georgia's Augusta Judicial Circuit, overseeing civil, domestic, and felony criminal cases in Burke and Richmond counties. Appointed in 2021 and elected in 2022, she made history as the first African American woman elected to this court and is its youngest judge. Previously, she was a Juvenile Court Judge, focusing on youth accountability, family resource connections, and trauma-informed practices for at-risk youth. Heath's legal career also includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney and running her own law practice. She earned her bachelor's from Hampton University and her law degree from Mercer University. She is running for re-election in 2026.
