Amy McGovern has served on the Board of Education for nine years, including as president in 2020. She attended The University of Alabama and has worked as a flight attendant for 22 years. A resident of Ocean Township for over 25 years, her two children have attended schools in the district. She has a history of community involvement, volunteering with the Wanamassa and Wayside PTAs, Ocean Township AYFC, Seasit, and The Junior League of Monmouth County.
