Andre V. Johnson, Jr. is a Democratic politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, where he represents District 34A in Harford County. He assumed this office on January 11, 2023. Johnson's career is distinguished by a long history of public service. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he transitioned to a career in law enforcement, serving as both a Baltimore City Police Officer and a Harford County Sheriff's Deputy. Prior to his election to the state legislature, Johnson served on the Harford County Council from 2018 to 2022. In the House of Delegates, he is a member of the Economic Matters Committee. He was born at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on June 19, 1971.
