Steve C. Johnson is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 34A in Harford County. He first took office on January 9, 2019. In the legislature, Johnson serves on the Health and Government Operations Committee and was appointed Deputy Majority Whip in 2023. Prior to his election, Johnson was the Director of Economic Development for the city of Aberdeen, a position he held from 2005 to 2017. His background in public service also includes time in the Army National Guard and as an Aberdeen auxiliary police officer. In addition to his political career, Johnson is the owner of the Johnson Family Pharmacy. He won his re-election campaign in 2022.
