Andrew Perchlik

Andrew Perchlik is a Democrat representing the three-member Washington Senate District in the Vermont Senate, first elected in 2018 and in office since January 2019. Born in Greeley, Colorado in 1968, he earned a B.S. in Environmental Politics from the University of Northern Colorado. A renewable-energy expert, he is Director of Vermont's Clean Energy Development Fund and was the founding executive director of Renewable Energy Vermont; he previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama and as a VISTA volunteer on weatherization and fuel-assistance work in Addison County. Before joining the Senate, he served on the Marshfield Selectboard (two years as chair), as a Marshfield justice of the peace, and on the Marshfield Volunteer Fire Department. He lives in Marshfield with his wife, Marianne Donahue, and their three children.
