Ann E. Cummings

Ann E. Cummings is a Democrat who has represented the Washington District in the Vermont State Senate since 1997 and chairs the Senate Committee on Finance. Born in Holliston, Massachusetts, on July 20, 1946, she became a resident of Montpelier in November 1975. A retired Realtor, she previously worked as a social service worker for Project Independence, owned Core Designs, and served as mayor of Montpelier. She is married to Regis E. Cummings, with whom she has three daughters and one son.
