Angela Denise Duncan is an incumbent Superior Court Judge for Georgia's 9th Superior Court District Gwinnett Circuit, seeking re-election on May 19, 2026. Appointed to the bench by Governor Brian Kemp, she is noted as Gwinnett County's first openly gay Superior Court judge. Judge Duncan brings extensive experience, having served 15 years as a Gwinnett County Magistrate Court judge and as the current chief judge for Chamblee’s municipal court. An alumna of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (1996) and the University of North Georgia, she also served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1987 to 1995.
