In his current professional capacity, Thompson serves as the CEO & Executive Director of the Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition, where he advocates for clean transportation and environmental justice. He is a licensed real estate agent and holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Brockport. He remains active in several community organizations, including the NAACP, 100 Black Men of Prince George's County, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
