April Parker is a candidate for Greensboro City Council District 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

April Parker moved to Greensboro in 2010. She earned a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Her career includes working as a media specialist for Guilford County Schools and extensive community organizing. Parker is a co-founder of Greensboro's Black Lives Matter chapter and the Queer People of Color Collective of the Triad. She also founded the Juneteenth Black Food Truck Festival. She has served on the Board of Trustees of the Greensboro Public Library.
