Autumn Rierson Michael was first elected to the Davidson Board of Commissioners in 2017 and currently serves as Mayor Pro Tempore. She is a native of Salisbury, NC, and has lived in Davidson since 2006. She earned a BA in political science from UNC-Chapel Hill and also attended the University of Georgia School of Law and School of Environmental Design, where she earned a master of historic preservation. She is married to Jeff Michael, and they have four children.
