Barbara Gresham

Barbara Gresham was first elected to the Springfield School Committee in 2009. She was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, and has been a resident of Springfield, MA for over 30 years. Ms. Gresham attended the University of Georgia for nursing and earned an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice from Springfield Technical Community College. For over two decades, she worked as a Program Nurse for Head Start in Springfield. She serves as the chair of the Student/Parent Concern and School Safety sub-committee and is the President of the Old Hill Neighborhood Council.
