Benjamin "Ben" Brickner is a Vermont attorney and local elected official from North Pomfret, in Windsor County. He chairs the Pomfret Selectboard and has served more than seven years in local government, including as town auditor and zoning board member; he and his wife Katie moved to Pomfret in 2018 and are raising a daughter there. He is a corporate and financial services attorney: a partner at Pierson Ferdinand, he previously practiced at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips and Debevoise & Plimpton, served as counsel in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, and was a policy advisor in the office of New Jersey Governor Richard J. Codey. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Cornell University.
