Bill Atkinson

Bill Atkinson is a Republican politician serving as an At-Large County Commissioner for Allegany County, Maryland. As a commissioner, he is responsible for legislative policy decisions and managing the county budget. Atkinson was re-elected to his position during the general election on November 8, 2022. In this capacity, Atkinson also serves as a member of the Allegany County Board of Health, helping to provide local leadership and oversee public health matters for the community. He operates out of the county administrative office located in Cumberland, Maryland. His current term as a county commissioner will run until December 31, 2026.
