Brad W. Young

Brad W. Young is a Democratic politician currently serving as President of the Frederick County Council as an At-Large member in Maryland. A Frederick native, Young brings extensive leadership experience from his 12-year tenure on the Frederick County Board of Education. Professionally, he is the President and CEO of Maryland Financial Planners, Ltd., with decades of financial experience. Young earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, an M.B.A. from Frostburg State University, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Hood College. Additionally, he has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Mount St. Mary's University.
