Brian Strahan is a candidate for Minneapolis City Council Ward 1 in Minneapolis, Minnesota — 2025 General Election. Running as Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL).

Brian Strahan is a resident of Northeast Minneapolis since 2007 and the founder of Keep Smiling Builders, a remodeling company focused on energy efficiency in historic homes. He earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and later studied Architectural Technology at MCTC with a focus on sustainable design. Prior to starting his business, he worked in research and was a stay-at-home parent. He is running for City Council with a focus on core city services and practical, thoughtful policies.
