Bruce G. Iwasaki was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2012 by Governor Jerry Brown. Prior to his appointment, he was a litigation partner at Lim, Ruger & Kim, LLP from 2006 to 2012. His career has a significant focus on public service, having served as the executive director of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles from 1997 to 2006. He also worked as a litigator at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 1988 to 1997 and began his legal career as a staff attorney for legal aid organizations.
