Byron McAllister has been the Mayor of Selma since 2021. He and his family moved to Selma in 2017. He is involved in the community, serving as the president of the Selma Elementary School Parent-Teacher-Community Organization and as a member of the Selma Lions Club. Prior to being elected mayor, he was elected to the Selma Town Council in 2019.
