Carissa Johnson is the incumbent Cary Town Council at-large member, first elected in 2022. She has been a resident of Cary for nearly three decades. Johnson works as a Senior Product Marketing Manager in the cybersecurity software industry. She studied Gerontology at Nazareth University and Zoology at North Carolina State University. Her community involvement includes serving on the Town of Cary Information Services Advisory Board, as Vice Chair of the Cary 150 Commission, and as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the Wake County court system. She is also a trained member of Cary's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
