Cashenna A. Cross

Cashenna A. Cross is a Democratic candidate for the Democratic Central Committee representing Maryland's Legislative District 24. A decorated military veteran, Cross retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of active-duty service as an intelligence officer. Cross previously served as the 18th Mayor of Glenarden, Maryland, where she was sworn in as the city's third female mayor in 2021. She has also served as an at-large Glenarden City Councilmember. Professionally, she is a corporate planning officer with the National Security Agency. Cross holds degrees from Mississippi State University and St. Mary's University.
