Catherine 'Cathie' Zusy, a 30-year Cambridge resident, joined the City Council in the fall of 2024 to fill a vacancy. A former museum curator, she has a long history of community activism, notably leading the revitalization of Magazine Beach Park and co-launching the restoration of St. Augustine's African-Orthodox Church. She has served as president of the Cambridgeport Neighborhood Association.
