Caylin Young

Caylin Young is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 45 in Baltimore City since assuming office on January 11, 2023. A Baltimore native, Young is a graduate of Baltimore City College, Hampton University, and the University of Baltimore School of Law. His professional background includes diverse roles such as public policy director for the ACLU of Maryland, legislative director for then-Baltimore City Council President Brandon Scott, and a math teacher within Baltimore City Public Schools. In the House of Delegates, Delegate Young serves on the influential Ways and Means Committee, applying his varied experience to state legislative matters.
