Jackie Addison is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, where she represents Legislative District 45 in Baltimore City. She officially assumed office on January 11, 2023. A native of Baltimore, Addison graduated from Dunbar High School before pursuing higher education at Sojourner-Douglass College, earning a degree in early childhood education. Prior to her career in the state legislature, she applied her educational background as a licensed childcare provider. Her previous political experience includes an unsuccessful campaign for the Baltimore City Council in 2020. In her current role as a delegate, she serves as a member of the House Environment and Transportation Committee.
