Chandrai "CJ" Jackson-Saunders is a non-partisan candidate running for re-election to the Prince George's County Board of Education representing District 9 in Maryland. Appointed to the board in 2026, she is a retired nationally certified school psychologist and educational leader who dedicated over 35 years to the District of Columbia Public Schools. In 2020, Jackson-Saunders made history as the first African American to be named National School Psychologist of the Year by the National Association of School Psychologists. She earned a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and an M.Ed. and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Howard University.
