Charlie Sisitsky was sworn in as Mayor of Framingham on January 1, 2022. A resident of Framingham since 1971, he has over forty years of experience in public administration. His public service includes serving as a Town Meeting member, on the Finance Committee, and as an elected member of the Framingham Board of Selectmen for 20 years (1998-2018). After Framingham became a city, he was elected as a City Councilor for District One. Professionally, Sisitsky served as the Planning Director for Medford for ten years and later as the Planning Director and then Director of Public Works for the Town of Natick for over twenty years. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from WPI and a Master's Degree in Community Planning and Area Development from the University of Rhode Island.
