Chelsey Richard Napoleon

Chelsey Richard Napoleon is the incumbent Clerk of Civil District Court for Orleans Parish, first elected in 2018. She is a lifelong resident of New Orleans and has worked in the Clerk's Office for approximately twenty years, including over eleven years as Chief Deputy Clerk. Napoleon earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Orleans. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, attending classes at night while working full-time.
