Chezia Cager

Chezia Cager is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 41. Her career is rooted in public service, with experience at the federal, state, and local levels of government. Cager's professional expertise spans crisis communications, health equity policy, and community development. She previously served as the chief of staff for Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, where she played an integral role in city administration. Cager earned an undergraduate degree from Salisbury University and holds a master's degree in communications from Notre Dame of Maryland. Within her district, she has demonstrated leadership by chairing the Senate Scholarship Committee and spearheading voter engagement initiatives.
