Christopher Aveta is a former member of the Middletown Township Board of Education, having served from 2010 to 2013. He previously served on the school board for the Carteret School District. Aveta earned his bachelor's degree from New Jersey City University and has worked as a litigation and collections coordinator and a senior account manager for a litigation support company. He has run for the board unsuccessfully in other recent years.
