Daphne Bradford was born in Los Angeles, California, and earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach, in 1989. She is an education consultant and the founder of the non-profit organization Mother of Many (M.O.M.), which focuses on providing technology training and STEM career opportunities to K-12 students. In 2013, she was recognized by the Obama administration as a White House Champion of Change Connected Educator. Bradford has previously run for the U.S. Senate in 2022 and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in 2024.
