Darlene Cerezo Swaffar is a Republican insurance agency owner and Medicare/health-insurance expert from South Florida who ran for Florida's 23rd Congressional District in 2026. Born in New York, New York, she earned an associate degree from St. John's University in 1993 and attended Florida International University for business management. She is the owner and president of Sunshine Insurance Associates and has also worked in business banking, mortgages, corporate recruiting, accounting and finance, project management, and economic development. She previously ran for Congress in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
