DARREN SOTO FOR CONGRESS

Darren Soto was elected to Congress in 2016 to represent Florida's 9th Congressional District. He is the first person of Puerto Rican descent to serve in Congress from Florida. An accomplished lawyer, Soto previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012 and the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2016. In Congress, he serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Natural Resources Committee. He earned his law degree from George Washington University in 2004.
