David Churchill is an attorney who has served as the Guilford County Clerk of Superior Court since being appointed in April 2025 to fill a vacancy. He previously held the same position for over 15 years, from 1998 to 2014. His experience also includes serving as an assistant public defender and an assistant district attorney. Churchill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster in 1977 and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1980.
