David Thorn is a candidate for Superior Court, Division III in Cochise, Arizona — 2026 Primary Election.

David Thorn is a fourth-generation Arizona native who was born in Yuma and grew up in Phoenix. He attended Arizona State University and earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law. He began his legal career in 1998 as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. In 2001, he moved to Cochise County. His experience includes serving as a Deputy County Attorney in Maricopa County and as Chief Trial Counsel at the Cochise County Public Defender's Office. He was elected to the Cochise County Superior Court in 2019 and later became the Associate Presiding Judge. As of January 1, 2024, he is the Presiding Superior Court Judge for Cochise County.
