David Todd Markle is an incumbent Judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He began his legal career in Atlanta in 1989, later establishing his own firm focused on civil litigation. In 2011, he served as executive counsel to Governor Nathan Deal before being appointed as a Judge on the Fulton Judicial Circuit Superior Court. In December 2018, Markle was appointed to the Georgia Court of Appeals, succeeding William M. Ray II, where he continues to serve. He holds a degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree from Walter F. George School of Law.
