Davit Melikian is a small business entrepreneur and custom home builder based in Durham, North Carolina. He is the founder of Heal Tree LLC, a hemp-based wellness brand, and Ark Homes LLC, a custom home building company. Born in Gyumri, Armenia, he immigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1995. He earned a degree in Finance and Operations Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and previously worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse. Melikian is active in local politics, serving as the First Vice Chair of the Durham County Democratic Party and on the Precinct Organizing team. He is also the North Carolina State Chair for the Armenian Assembly of America, where he spearheads advocacy efforts.
