Don Allen Oliver Jr. is a candidate for Town of Kure Beach Mayor in Kure Beach, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

Don Allen Oliver, known as Allen Oliver, is the incumbent mayor of Kure Beach. He was elected in 2023 after running unopposed. Before becoming mayor, he served on the Kure Beach Town Council since 2017 and was the mayor pro tem for two years. Oliver had a 35-year career in local government before retiring in 2014, serving as the Parks and Recreation Director for the cities of Asheboro and High Point. He also served as an Interim Assistant City Manager in High Point and as the Interim Town Manager for Biscoe, NC. Since moving to Kure Beach, he has been a member of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the town's representative on the WMPO Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Committee.
