Donald Willis

Donald Willis is a retired Lieutenant from the Macon County Sheriff's Office, where he worked for over 30 years. He served as the Lieutenant over the Criminal Investigations Division before his retirement. His career in public service began in 1988 as a volunteer firefighter, and he has also served as Macon County's Fire Marshal. Willis holds several certifications, including Firefighter Level I and II, Emergency Medical Technician, and Fire/Arson Investigator. In 2020, he completed the North Carolina State Department of Justice Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate. He previously ran for the District 1 commissioner seat in the 2022 Republican primary.
