Emanuel Jones is a long-serving Democratic State Senator representing Georgia's 10th Senate District, which includes portions of DeKalb and Henry counties. First sworn into the Senate in 2005, he has built a legislative career focused on public service, strengthening communities, and expanding opportunity. An automobile dealer by profession, Senator Jones also holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University. He is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in McDonough. Currently, he serves on key committees including Appropriations, Banking and Financial Institutions, Economic Development and Tourism, Interstate Cooperation, Natural Resources and the Environment, and Urban Affairs.
