Emily L. Jackson

Emily L. Jackson is a non-partisan candidate running for the Board of Education in District 4 of Talbot County, Maryland. Jackson currently serves on the board and was selected by her peers as the President of the Talbot County Board of Education. As an education advocate, she has focused on advancing local public school initiatives, including supporting the fiscal year 2026 budget to fund staff salaries and new special education programs. Jackson has also actively supported state legislation like Maryland Senate Bill 612 to allow innovative school scheduling options. She previously won her District 4 seat during the 2022 general election.
