Erroll G. Williams

Erroll G. Williams is the incumbent Orleans Parish Assessor and has served in this role since the seven parish assessment districts were consolidated into one in 2011. Prior to the consolidation, he was the assessor for the Third Municipal District for 26 years, starting in 1985. His career in public service also includes roles as Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Finance for the City of New Orleans. Before entering public service, he worked as an internal auditor for Goldman Sachs and with Alexander Grant & Co. Certified Public Accountants. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Dillard University and an MBA from Tulane University. He is also a Certified Louisiana Assessor and holds a Louisiana Real Estate License.
