John Fleming currently serves as the Louisiana State Treasurer, having assumed office in 2024. A physician, entrepreneur, and military veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy and ran a medical practice in Minden, Louisiana. Fleming previously represented Louisiana's 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2017. He has also held roles in the Trump administration, including Deputy Assistant Secretary at HHS and Assistant Secretary of Commerce.
