Dr. Everton Blair Jr. is an educator and lifelong resident of Georgia's 13th Congressional District, born in Gwinnett County to Jamaican immigrants. With degrees from Harvard and Stanford, he previously worked on President Obama’s White House Initiative on Educational Excellence. Blair made history serving on the Gwinnett County School Board as its youngest and first Black member, later becoming Board Chair. He led the county through the COVID-19 pandemic, raised teacher pay, and expanded student services. He is running for Congress to bring his proven leadership to the national stage, championing a people-powered campaign free of corporate PACs.
