Fitzgerald Mofor is a Republican candidate running for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 9A. A native of Gaithersburg, Maryland, he is a graduate of Sherwood High School. Mofor continued his education, earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019 and a Master of Law from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2022. His professional experience includes work in government affairs. He has served as secretary of the Montgomery County Taxpayers League and as an at-large member of the Montgomery County Republican Central Committee. Mofor's campaign platform centers on providing tax relief for middle-class families and businesses to encourage job creation within the state.
