Natalie Ziegler

Natalie Ziegler is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 9A, which covers parts of Howard and Montgomery counties. She assumed office on January 11, 2023. Prior to her election, Ziegler had a career as a journalist and guest booker for CNN. An entrepreneur, she co-founded a jewelry design and manufacturing company with her husband. They also own and operate Carroll Mill Farm, a feed grain operation in Ellicott City. Ziegler earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Oberlin College and holds a master's degree in economics and American foreign policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
