Freddie King III is the incumbent Councilmember for District C, having assumed office in January 2022. He is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where he earned a degree in political science, and the Southern University Law Center. After law school, he founded The King Law Firm L.L.C. and has also worked for the City Council's Office and as an Orleans Parish Public Defender. He lives and runs his small business in Algiers.
