Gary Hartong is a professional engineer and the President of The Wooten Company, a civil and environmental engineering firm. He has over 25 years of experience with the company, having started as an intern. Hartong holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in engineering from North Carolina State University. He is an active leader in the engineering profession, serving in national and state organizations, and was inducted into the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) College of Fellows. He has also served on the Town of Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board.
