George W. Ballou is in his fifth 4-year term on the Morehead City Council, having been initially sworn in in December 2005. His current term ends in December 2025. Before serving as a Councilman, he was on the Morehead City Planning Board for four years, serving as Chairman for two of those years. He is the co-owner of Ballou and Sons, Inc. and Mayberry Storage Rentals, and is the trustee of Ballou Mobile Home Park.
