Judge Geronda V. Carter is seeking re-election as Judge of the Georgia 6th Superior Court District Clayton Judicial Circuit in 2026. An incumbent judge, she previously served as the presiding Magistrate Court Judge in 2005 and 2006, and was the first Black Superior Court Judge in Clayton County. Judge Carter graduated magna cum laude from Spelman College with a degree in Psychology and earned her juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. She has received numerous community awards, including an NAACP Outstanding Achievement Award, and is a member of Woods Memorial Baptist Church and various legal and alumni associations. Her campaign emphasizes her track record, stating, 'SHE KEPT HER PROMISES. LET'S KEEP HER.'
