Gregory 'Greg' Seabolt was born in Denton, North Carolina, in 1962. After graduating from Denton High School, he attended Guilford College, where he studied Business Administration. Seabolt retired from the North Carolina Highway Patrol in 2013 after a 30-year career, spending the last 18 years in Randolph County. During his time as a Trooper, he served as a field training officer and a precision and defensive driving instructor. He was first elected as Randolph County Sheriff in 2018. He and his wife, Candace, have two children.
